William Reeve Obituary

William E. Reeve, "Bill", 95, of Franklin St., Auburn passed away February 21, 2017 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in Auburn, he was the son of the late William H. and Eleanor (Farrant) Reeve.
Bill was a WWII Quarter Master and Mine Sweeper Navy Veteran stationed on one of the first ships that swept the waters in the Normady Invasion.
He retired from Beardsley and Beardsley where he was employed in the architectural and engineering department.
Bill was a quiet unassuming gentleman who never spoke a negative word about anyone.
He cherished his home where he enjoyed gardening, birdwatching and wood working.
He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, June Sutfin Reeve; by a daughter Pamalee Reeve and by two nephews and a niece.
He was predeceased by a brother James Reeve.
Friends may visit the family on Friday February 24 from noon to 1pm at Langham Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 1pm.
Burial will be in Soule Cemetery.
