Vera Mosher Obituary
AUBURN | Vera Jane Lusk Mosher, 88, of Schwartz Towers, passed away Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015 at Finger Lakes Center for Living.
The daughter of Joseph W. and Lillian Summerscale Lusk, Vera was born in Auburn on Dec. 5, 1926 and lived in the Auburn area her entire life. She was a graduate of East High School and worked as a secretary at Dunn & McCarthy, at Firth Carpet (where she met her husband of 66 years, Glenn Lee Mosher), at for Hill Cemetery, St. John's Church and then at SS. Peter and John Church.
Vera was a communicant of SS. Peter and John Episcopal Church, a former member of the vestry and the altar guild.
Vera is survived by her husband, Glenn; her daughters, Patricia M. Mosher, of Orlando, Florida, Susan M. McNeill, of Liverpool, and Shelley M. Forsythe and her husband, Rob, of Freeville; one grandson, Ian J. Forsythe; one granddaughter, Anna E. Forsythe; nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Vera was pre-deceased by her brother, Joseph F. Lusk.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 7 at SS. Peter and John Episcopal Church, 169 Genesee St. Burial will be in Fort Hill Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
