Stephen Charles Vincent, 85, passed away peacefully October 17, 2025 at The Commons on St. Anthony, Auburn, NY.
Born in Rochester, NY, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Mabel (Taft) Vincent. Stephen proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before beginning a long career as an electrician with Conrail Transportation.
A New York Yankees fan, Stephen rarely missed a game and loved to talk baseball with anyone who shared his passion. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing and found great joy and peace in the art of woodcarving. His hand-carved creations, often detailed fish, graceful birds, and the weathered “old men of the sea” reflected both his patience and his deep appreciation for nature and craftsmanship.
Stephen will be remembered for his steady hands, kind heart, and the simple pleasures that filled his days. His legacy lives on in the memories he created, the art he left behind, and the family and friends who loved him.
