Stanton Bryant Obituary

Stanton William Bryant, 89, of 194 Van Anden St., Auburn passed away
Friday, September 23, 2016 at Auburn Community Hospital due to pneumonia complications.
Born in Auburn, he was the son of the late Joseph H. and Ethel J. (Treat) Bryant.
Stanton was a Navy veteran serving from 1946 to 1950.
He retired in 1985 from Alco where he was employed for over twenty years.
He was the owner of
Cayuga Sandblasting and was an active employee with Specialty Surgery Center of Liverpool where he
transported patients.
He was a former auctioneer for the Auburn Police Department,
a former director for both the boys and girls baseball and the Regional Transportation Center and was on the Board of Directors for the SPCA.
Stanton is survived by his wife of 47 years Phyllis Spinelli Bryant; three children, Dawn C. Ferrell, Lori A. Bryant-Havener and Jeff W. Bryant; his siblings, Thomas and James Bryant, Theresa Lockheart and by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother Joseph Bryant and a sister Alice Harvey.
It was Stanton's wishes to have no calling hours or funeral services. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make contributions in his memory to the SPCA.
