T AUBURN | Shirley Zubrowski, 88, formerly of Cayuga, passed away July 9, 2016 at The Commons on St. Anthony Street.
Born in Auburn, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Maude Axton Cornelius.
Surviving are her children, Gloria (John) Bergenstock, Mary Taylor, and Shirley Harrington; four grandchildren, Shelly Norton, Eric Bergenstock, Amanda Mellenthin, and John Taylor; 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Zubowski; a son, Terry Zubrowski, and brothers and sisters, Wilbur and Gordon Cornelius, Gladys Zentner and Pauline Pethybridge.
Friends may visit the family from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 13 at Langham Funeral Home LLC, 75 E. Genesee St., Auburn, with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in Soule Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Shirley.
