Roger Hebert Obituary
Roger (Raymond) E. Hebert, 83, of McClelland Dr., Auburn, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015 at his home.
Born in Syracuse, he was raised in Rochester and was the son of the late Raymond E. and Helen Madigan Hebert.
Roger was a graduate of St. Bonaventure and received his Masters Degree in public administration from Syracuse University.
He was employed from 1972 to 1999 as executive director for Home Care for Cortland County.
Roger loved sailing on area lakes and enjoyed the company of his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rochelle Brooten Hebert; two sons, Eric (Lisa) Hebert of Washington, DC and Thomas Hebert of Auburn; two sisters Mary Trabucco of Rochester and Doris Small of Waukesha, Wisconsin and by many nieces and nephews.
The family will greet friends on Friday, June 5 from 11-11:30am at Langham Funeral Home, LLC 75 E. Genesee St., Auburn followed by a memorial service at 11:30 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Roger may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Resources of CNY, 6743 Kinne St., E. Syracuse,
NY 13057.
