Robert J. McCarthy

Robert J. McCarthy Sr. 88, passed away at his home surrounded by family on Thursday, June 5, 2025.  He was born in Auburn, NY,  the son of the late John and Marion Kinney McCarthy. Robert graduated from East High School in 1955 and Cayuga Community College (ACC) in 1957.   He worked in the Transportation Industry and was President of Je-Mac Corporation for 25 years.

He married Evelyn Jean Post on September 14, 1957 . Together they had four sons, Robert Jr. (Patti), John (Anne) and Thomas (Roxanne).  He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn in 2022 and son Jeffrey in 2014. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
