Robert J. Davis

Robert J. Davis, "Bob", 59, of Auburn, passed away January 23, 2017 at Auburn Community Hospital.
Born in Auburn, he was the son of the late Frank and Bonnie (Anderson) Davis.
He was a graduate of Union Springs High School and was retired from the Auburn Walmart where he was employed in the shipping/receiving department.
Bob served in the Airforce and was stationed in England.
He was an avid bowler and participated in many local leagues.
He enjoyed playing cards with friends and family and was and passionate Rams football fan.
He attended the Fleming Federated Church.
He is survived by four sisters, Gloria (Edward) Pinckney, Penny Austin, Claudia (Richard) Setter and Monica Cole and by five nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and by a nephew Brandon Austin and by a niece Michelle Pinckney.
There are no calling hours and a private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial in spring will be in Fleming Rural Cemetery.
