Richard M. Bell, Jr., "Rick", passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at his home with his family by his side.
Rick was a correctional officer at Jamesville Correctional Facility.
He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Auburn and in earlier years was a little league coach.
Rick enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Barbara Withers Bell; his son, Brandon F. Bell; his sister Cheri (Jim) Kemp along with several other brothers and sisters; special niece and nephew, Sally Marshall and Albert Kemp and several other nieces and nephews; and by an adoring great niece Renee Claire Marshall.
Rick was predeceased by his father, Richard M. Bell, Sr., his step mother Sally Mae Bell and by his son Roland R. "Buddy" Bell.
There are no calling hours or services.
Burial will be in Fort Hill Cemetery.
