Marylyn A. Barth

Marylyn A. Barth, 89, of Owasco, NY, passed away August 9, 2025 at Auburn Community Hospital.  Born in Moravia, she was the daughter of the late Frank and May (Smith) LeFevre. 

Marylyn began her career in real estate in 1977 with Picciano Real Estate and owned and operated The Lady in The Shoe Real Estate.  She later worked with Murphy Real Estate, retiring in 2019.  An established realtor and broker, she was Realtor Associate of the year in 1984 and a member of the National Assoc. of Realtors with a status of Realtor Emeritus. 

A devoted real estate professional with a tireless work ethic and generous spirit, she spent many years turning houses into homes for countless families. She cherished her time with her family and in her younger years enjoyed antiquing and camping. 

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (David) Heffron; a brother Wesley LeFevre; nieces, Linda Miller, Karen Fenner and Janice Miller and several cousins and many dear friends.  In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Karl W. Barth in 2007 and brother and sister in-laws Bill and Karlene Miller.

Visiting hours will be Thursday August 14 from 4-6pm at Langham Funeral Home, LLC (NEW LOCATION) 48 South Street, Auburn. Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30am at Langham Funeral Home followed by burial in Owasco Rural Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Owasco Fire Department, Station #2, 4881 12 Corners Rd, Auburn, NY 13021.
