June Coats Obituary
June Locke Coats, 87, formerly of White Birch Lane, Fleming, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Finger Lakes for the Living.
Born in Auburn, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Martha A. (Day) Locke.
She and her late husband Chester C. Coats, who passed away in 1994, owned and operated the Sherwood Inn until the early 1970's.
June loved painting and many friends and family members looked forward to receiving her painted stones.
She was a member of the Candlelight Card Club.
She is survived by her three sons and one daughter, Bruce Fleig, Paul Fleig, Peter Coats and Deborah (Craig) Gallace; a sister Eleanor Klonowski; two grandchildren Melanie Gallace and Eric Fleig; five great grandchildren and nieces Paula Lyons and Jean Vanbrocklin.
There are no calling hours and funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Skaneateles.
