Josephine Rose Smith,
88, of 19 Maple St., Auburn passed away Friday August 22, 2014.
Born in Berlington, VT, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Alice Barnes Pidgeon.
She is survived by her four children, Tammy (Ralph) Carnicelli , Linda Harwood, David (Linda) Smith and Timothy Smith and his son Adam C. Smith, 11 other grandchildren,
19 great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Alvin Smith in 2001 and by two brothers and a sister.
There are no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on
Thursday, August 28 at 9:30am at St. Alphonusus Church.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Langham Funeral Home is handling funeral arrangements.
