Joan Jackson

Joan Jackson, 85, of 4878 Gahwiler Rd., Owasco, passed away March 8, 2019 at The Commons on St. Anthony Street. Born in Auburn, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Gladys Panes White. Joan was a long time member of the Owasco Reformed Church and enjoyed her time singing in the church choir. After raising her five children with her husband Harold, she was employed at The Big Store. Joan was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Harold G. Jackson, Sr., five children, Mark (Kathy) Jackson, Keith Jackson, Glenn (Shelby Ciraolo) Jackson, Dawn (Peter) McLean and Val (Stan) Tulowiecki; a brother, Harold "Et" White; 12 grandchildren ; 13 great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews.

Joan was predeceased by her sister Cheryl Lardeo and by her infant daughter Melissa Jackson.

Calling hours will be Monday, March 11 from 11am-12:30pm at the Owasco reformed Church with a funeral service to follow at 12:45pm. Private burial will be in Fort Hill Cemetery.
