Joan C. Bower

Joan C. Bower, 97, died August 6, 2017 at The Commons on St. Anthony Street, Auburn.
Born in Geneva, NY she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy Nangle Clark.
She was an East High School graduate and was a communicant of St. Alphonsus Church.
Joan was a loving mother, grandmother of six and great grandmother of six who enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons John (Sharon) Bower and Gerard (Mary Jo) Bower and by a daughter Margaret (Gregory) Friel.
She was predeceased by her husband Franklin Bower in 2010, a son, James Bower and by a daughter in law Carol Bower.
There are no calling hours and there will be a private family service.
Burial will be in Fort Hill Cemetery.
