Surrounded by his loved ones, Harold A. Sanders, 86, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025 at his home in the Town of Aurelius. Born in Auburn, NY he was the son of the late Smith “Sam” and Myrna (Gable) Sanders. Following High School Harold served in the Air Force from 1959 to 1965. His first love was family and second love was cooking. Harold was enthusiastic about gardening, carpentry and his home in Fosterville which he had completely remodeled. Whatever he was interested in doing, he always managed to master the task at hand and enjoyed the time doing so.

He is also survived by his brother Lowell D. Sanders, his children, Sherry (Donald) Singer, Donald Sanders and partner Joy Carver, and Julie Sanders and husband Robert Taylor.
