Gloria I. Hare, 86, of Upper Dr., Auburn passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Auburn Memorial
Hospital. Gloria was born in Worth, NY the daughter of the late Peter and Lottie Manosh Fostin.
Gloria was an avid Yankee fan, an animal lover, but best known for her sense of humor and fun wit.
She was employed as a waitress
at the former Hofbrau Restaurant
for many years where she worked along side her daughter Sharon.
They both experienced daily laughter and fun with the staff that was there at the time.
Gloria worked several years at the former Siracusa's Restaurant until she retired at the age of 69.
Throughout her waitressing career she enjoyed getting to know the public and serving them well.
She is survived by her two daughters Sharon Blaisdell and her husband Michael and Patricia Watkins and her husband Michael; 4 grandchildren, Timothy Michael Blaisdell, Tammy Marie Blaisdell, Christie Anne Blaisdell and Trevor Michael Watkins; 5 great grandchildren, Victoria Lynn Blaisdell, Nicholas Michael Blaisdell, Jacob Michael Wieczorek, Lillie Mae Blaisdell and Maggie Mae Blaisdell and by a dear friend Jerald Robinson.
Gloria was predeceased by her husband Carleton E. Hare, an infant son Carleton Peter Hare, a son Kevin Peter Hare, a sister Lucille LaRose, brothers Lawrence and Leonard Fostin and a great grandson Connor Michael Wilson.
There are no calling hours and private graveside services will be in Fort Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Those wishing may make contributions to the SPCA in memory of Gloria.
