Gertrude K. Reeck

Gertrude K. Reeck, 95, of Punta Gorda, Florida and formerly of Boyle Center in Auburn, passed away, January 5th, 2015.
Born in Germany, Gert and her husband, Gus, with their two sons, came to the United States in 1952. She was employed and retired from the Cayuga County Lab.
She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years .
She is survived by two sons, Lothar
and his wife, Jeanne, of Punta Gorda, Florida and Klaus, of Fairbanks, Alaska; Two
grandchildren, Tom Reeck
and his wife, Jamie of Colorado and Jeff Reeck and his wife, Michelle, of Texas; and three great grandchildren.
Gert enjoyed knitting and did various projects in the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
She was a member of
St Luke's United Church of Christ.
As a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother
and friend, she will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Burial was in Soule Cemetery, Sennett
and a Graveside Memorial service is planned for a future date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Luke's United Church of Christ, 25 Seminary Ave., Auburn, 13021
