Eva Lambton Obituary

Eva R. Lambton, 85, of Camillus, NY, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016 at The Commons on St. Anthony, Auburn, NY.
Born in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of the late Massino and Marietta Chiassolini Ronca. Eva worked as Executive Assistant for Urban Renewal and the Auburn Correctional Facility.
Eva was well accomplished in the arts of cooking, crochet, and embroidery.
She produced an award-winning quilt and enjoyed collecting antiques, card playing, and shopping.
Eva was a devout Catholic.
She was a founding member of Matthew House, a Board Member thereof, and a Hospice volunteer on a regular basis.
She is survived by her son Jack Lambton (Bonnie Bell) of Seattle, brother Dante Ronca (Lucy Verrigni) of Schenectady, devoted friend Mary Shaffer of Michigan, and cherished cat Bella.
Eva was predeceased by her husband Jack W. Lambton and her son Jason Lambton (Joan Snihur), brother Edmund (Anna) Ronca, and sister Yola (Fred) Schoeffler.
She is also survived by a niece and eight nephews.
No calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 20, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church.
