Christine Bobbett Obituary
Christine Bobbett, 83, of Fulton, NY , passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in Syracuse, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine Butler Delaney.
Christine was an Auburn Central High School graduate and was a retired caregiver from the former Mercy Hospital in Auburn.
Christine was a happy, caring and loving mother who not only took care of her family but also her many friends.
She was an avid knitter who was involved in making lap robes for charitable organizations.
She enjoyed her summers fishing at the camp on Beach Island, Eagle Lake, Ontario.
Surviving is her husband of 61 years, Eugene Bobbett, three sons, John, David and Bill (Jodie) Bobbett all of Fulton, a sister, Judith (Richard) Mahalik of Cicero, six grandchildren, Ryan(Maureen), Daniel (Stephanie), Kevin, Brea, Brenna and Bryce Bobbett, two great grandchildren and five nieces and nephews, one of which, Jeff Mahalik, she thought of as her fourth son.
Christine was predeceased by a brother John Delaney.
There are no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated
Friday, March 28 at 9:30AM at St. Alphonsus Church.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
