Carol J. Falcone (Stebbins),
75, of Auburn, NY, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. She was born in Auburn on May 30, 1941, the daughter of the late Harold Stebbins and Lola Corbett Stebbins and had been a life resident.
She was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Grammie, Sister and Friend, always putting others before herself. She had the most generous, loving heart and touched many lives in her presence. Words can never express how grateful we were to have had this beautiful person in our lives and we will always be thankful for the gift that was her life. We will always remember her energetic spirit, she was constantly on the go and she enjoyed every minute of her day. Carol was an avid reader and was also very good with numbers and games from the word game Jumble to Sudoku and Crosswords.
Carol enjoyed working and semi-retired after working 30+ years at Balian's Carpeting in Auburn as a Bookkeeper and has spent the past several years working part-time in the Human Resource Department at Auburn Community Hospital.
She is survived by her loving family, her devoted husband Angelo of 54 years; two children, Tracey Dello Stritto, Michael Falcone and his wife Jodi; four amazing grandsons, Tyler, Christan, Nicholas and Colby; one sister, Marilyn Baran, as well as several nieces, nephews and countless friends.
In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by her two brothers, Kenneth and Donald Stebbins.
The family will receive friends 4:00pm to 7:00p.m., Friday, January 20th at Langham Funeral Home, LLC with funeral services at 10am Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
